Merry Christmas!!!!

I want to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays depending on what you all celebrate. In either case, we hope everyone enjoys their winter break and festivities. Looking forward to a new year and hopefully some picture updates of our babies.  I bet they are all big and rambunctious!

Please enjoy some pictures of our furry friends. Pay special attention to our pups Bolt and Xena and see how big and beautiful they have gotten! Oh and our kids are easy on the eyes too! Don't you agree??

Last one to go home..

Hello everyone, it has been a really, really, busy week!  I could not post an update due to a conference that I had to attend.  It was a very intensive conference and I am still feeling the effects of it.  Workshops went on day and night and there was very little opportunity to rest or do anything recreational.  Once back home the work routine started without any pause and I've been at it since!

Today I am finally able to shave off a few minutes of my evening to write this post. I wanted to announce that last Friday, our last puppy Diamond, went home to her new family. I wanted to post a picture of her and her mom as it came out so pretty and very festive in time for the holidays!

Please meet the new family:

Cecilia & Diamond!!!!

I want to wish Cecilia and Diamond and wonderful life together filled with memorable moments and quiet puppy cuddle times!  Diamond loves to give kisses and she is a very sweet girl. I know Cecilia will enjoy her and she sent us a brief update stating that she was sleeping and eating well.

Happy Thanksgiving every one!

PS. Remember to be careful with "turkey bones" and table scraps, pups can get into stuff very quickly and guests can be careless or plates can get over looked.  Lets take good care of our furry friends. Say no to food not specially made for the dogs.  However, if you want to treat them, fresh fruits are great and boiled liver is always a hit.

Update on Puppies...

A brief update of how things are going with Bella's Pups and their families. We currently only have one more Pup waiting to go home to her new family.

Having only 3 puppies is A LOT easier, so for you families with your puppies, if you think it is hard to have one puppy at home, imagine 6 of them!

Luna is home with her family in MN. and looks so happy (see below). Thank you family for this great picture.

Stella and Luna go home to their families.

Well it has been a really busy week with a couple of puppies going home to their families. They were bitter-sweet farewells and the pups are dearly missed. We are having a tough time adjusting to them being gone. We keep counting the ones that are left and keep feeling like someone is missing. We quickly realize "Oh that's right their gone!" Bella is very clingy and melancholy,  but enjoys playing with the pups that are still here.

As of now, Stella went home Friday and Luna went home Saturday.  We got a nice picture of Stella's new Mom and Dad, but forgot to get a picture of Luna's family. We will ask them if they could please send us one of the girls with Luna(Coco Muffin) and when we get one, with their permission would love to post it.

We want to say "thank you!" to all of the families so far.  Everyone has been so cooperative, decent, and kind. We couldn't be more pleased with the family we chose and those who chose our puppies!!!  It has been an awesome experience and I only regret not having more time with the pups, since having to work so much, I missed time with them that I had to delegate to other family members.  Next time we breed, I want to have less responsibilities and be able to devote almost every minute to their care, because I really enjoy it and can see now how very quickly they grow and leave the nest.  However, I can imagine how much more attached I would have been! As it is, I could barely let them go!

We still have Bolt, Xena, and Diamond. Diamond goes home next week and Bolt and Xena stay with us forever... Yayyy....  I have a couple of pics of the remaining pups and of Stella's family.

The first born, is the first to fly the coop... We'll miss her and wish her the best of luck!

I wanted to post yesterday, but I was not able to because it was a super busy day. Every time I tried, someone or something interrupted me. Today was the same, but, I was determined to get it posted.

So I'll start by saying that it was a happy and sad day all at once. Happy, because I got to go out for a bit, went to Trader Joe's (one of my favorite food stores, and because one of our puppies was united with her new forever family. Sad for obvious reasons, because she was my favorite pup, our first born, and I miss her tons.

We met in Brookfield after driving an hour and a bit; Payton was very good during the drive, which is good since she will be traveling a lot with her new family. Awesome fit.

At last, we handed Payton over to her new parents and they made such a nice looking family. She was joined by her two new canine siblings the poodle Ms. Honey and the Min pin boy, who's name escapes me at the moment.

Please enjoy the following pics of Payton's Journey to meet her new folks..

All Bathed and spiffy to meet my mom and dad

Wow! A car ride... Is this safe?
And you're coming too?

Let us introduce... Ms. Payton Lee Short!
(and Mom and Dad Short, of course..)

It was a long day, but everything went very well and we had a little break since our oldest daughter watched the boys and the puppies for the evening. Our younger daughter got to have some special time with Mom and Dad shopping and store hopping.

Enjoy your new puppy Short Family...

Thanks, Al & Paola :o)

Our day at the VET.

I also want to report that the pups went to the holistic vet today and all had a wonderful check up. We are all healthy, checked for worms and found worm free (without ever deworming them), and all strong and well developed. Four of them got puppy shots, but the best quality and including only two components and not 5 like regular vets so irresponsibly give young puppies. So far, they are doing fine and we hope they will be fine tomorrow also. Xena and Bolt who we are keeping, did not get any shots as we will have them get it after they are like 4 months old at least. They just got check ups. I managed to get only a couple of pics because I forgot my camera in the car and Al drove away with it when he drove back home to get the stool samples that we forgot in the fridge! Never a dull moment with these babies...

The pups pictured up close are Bolt and Payton..
